Remember when the government was shut down specifically because the Democrats refused to go along with a bill that ended the health insurance subsidies, and they had the Republicans up against the ropes because no matter how much they tried to dodge the responsibility, the majority of people blamed Republican intransigence for the shutdown?

Then remember how the Schumer-led Democrats just completely folded, passed the bill, then stood idly by as the chance to extend the subsidies vanished?

Every single one of those stinking traitorous shitbags needs to be primaried.

So, the problem is the “primaried” thing isn’t enough at this point. People are going to die because of these choices. Eye for an eye.

definitely a comment that would get you banned from reddit

[–] SnotFlickerman@lemmy.blahaj.zone 38 points 1 week ago (1 children)

And even though it won't get you banned here, it surely is being documented by Palantir and putting us all on "lists."

[–] foodandart@lemmy.zip 11 points 1 week ago (1 children)

Fuck Palantir, it's Google that's the devil.

Don't fear the state, fear the profit driven corporations.

They're the future, and it begins now.

[–] gravitas_deficiency@sh.itjust.works 26 points 1 week ago (1 children)

I don’t think you understand the depth and breadth of what Palantir does, and who uses them.

[–] Corkyskog@sh.itjust.works 6 points 1 week ago (1 children)

I am fairly confident that's what all these AI companies and GPUs are for to make their own Palantirs or just to run their software. Palantir is basically creating Skynet or any of those cyberpunk type movies where a cop plugs in a persons name and it gives every detail of who they are and a summary of what they did the last week.

[–] supersquirrel@sopuli.xyz 4 points 1 week ago* (last edited 1 week ago)

That has basically already been done to Palestinians with Microsoft Azure.

[–] Buffalox@lemmy.world 11 points 1 week ago

Which is strange since Republicans usually love bible quotes.

[–] crusa187@lemmy.ml 31 points 1 week ago

Yes, primary all of them, but ESPECIALLY primary Schumer and Jeffries. They are absolutely toxic to democracy. If someone is claiming it’s a bad idea to primary them, that person is working against the people on behalf of the rich and corporations. Just like current Dem leadership.

[–] Lucidlethargy@sh.itjust.works 7 points 1 week ago (2 children)

Everyone who voted to end it isn't up for a primary, or so I heard back when this happened.

[–] Randomgal@lemmy.ca 5 points 1 week ago

It's like... It was planned.

[–] Tollana1234567@lemmy.today 1 points 1 week ago

schumer was protecting the dems that are up for re-election next year, i think there is at least 13 dem seats up(its likely these that are also supporters.

[–] Tollana1234567@lemmy.today 2 points 1 week ago* (last edited 1 week ago)

schumer and his DINO acolytes are pretty much gop lite from the start. they had no interest in trying to upset the status quo of the donors. he specifically chose the 8 dems that are retiring or not up for re-election in '26, in order to protect the DEMS that are up for re-election next year. if 8 of them wernt chosen, then 13 wouldve voted to open the govt. look at those 13 DEMS, if they are in your state they need to be primaried.

the airlines are getting nervous so they reminded SCHUMER and thier pets to open the govt back up.
