Campaign will target rightwing ideologues to fill ranks to meet Trump deportation goals in 2026

US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has reportedly planned a $100m, one-year media blitz for what it’s calling “wartime recruitment”, targeting conservative radio show listeners, gun rights aficionados, military affairs followers and men’s interests enthusiasts – among others in the MAGA-verse – for jobs in the Trump administration’s next phase of its mass deportation campaign.

As ICE looks to hire for thousands of new positions, flush with cash after an unprecedented influx from Congress last summer, it’s relying on geofencing to ensure people near military bases, Nascar races, gun and trade shows, and college campuses receive its recruitment ads, according to an internal document reported by the Washington Post.

Officials also intend to spend $8m or more on deals with fitness, military and tactical/lifestyle online influencers, who would use their sway to push the administration’s immigration agenda through livestreams, events, and other content meant for their gen Z and millennial audiences.

You will have to do a lot of evil to even get in that position. You won't do any good. What needs to happen is state governments making it legal to shoot and kill masked armed men who clearly not wearing badges nor have warrants.

It already is legal, but that is moot. Your error is only in that thinking America is a nation of laws. They're mostly past law now. At the federal level and many states it's gonzo.

People aren't safe by not doing anything wrong. People aren't safe by defending themselves legally. People aren't safe.

It is legal, but good luck getting your rights upheld in such a scenario.

That would be moot since the feds could just pick off individuals doing said actions piecemeal. What needs to be done is the creation of state militia with basically the express purpose of putting feds in the dirt. Don't even need all that great equipment to make it viable just a couple technicals and some police level personal gear would probably be more than enough. Just screen their social media for MAGA shit and put the pay at 30 dollars an hour and youd have a solid group willing to fight and kill, especially if they can stay in their home city/town.
