The problem is he says so much insane stuff it's hard to keep track of what he might actually take action on.
I didn't expect him to actually attack Venezuela any more than I expected him to nuke a hurricane.
The thing is, Trump isn't doing shit. It's very clear that Miller and the Heritage Foundation are at the helm here, and they do what they say they will do.
Trump is mostly just being a puppet, you are correct in that, but he is also making off the rails speeches and whackadoodle claims in interviews that cause their own sort of chaos and uncertainty.
I just assumed he would do both, except some general would physically stop him from nuking the hurricane.
Nah. This is the same thing we've been doing with Russia for decades. They repeatedly claim to be at war with / under attack from us in their own media, we continue feeding them (because Gazprom jobs are sweet), and then we act surprised when they attack.
