It's a great story that Damar came back from the brink of death and is still with us today but he hasn't played at all this year if he wins that award then that award is completely meaningless.

I think he played a few snaps against us but that’s the only game he has played in

Geno came back from nothing last season, that did far worse for the meaning than Damar potentially winning

Not trying to be contrarian bc objectively I agree w you (non objectively, I’m very compelled by his return), but hasn’t he played one game? Thought he was active and participated in one so far.
