Bill is one of the best we've ever seen at coaching defenses

Total defensive ranks from 2001 to the end of bradys tenure

Average 16.21. In a league of 32 teams the patriots were defensively average during bradys tenure

He was decent as a DC but i wouldnt say he's some amazing defensive coach that just blows everyone away. He wasnt ever the best defensive coach in any era he coached in. The pats offense regularly outpaced the defense, even in the early years when they were allegedly carrying brady and the offense
