LMFAO why the FUCK would the Bengals ship Higgins to Carolina? Laughable they even inquired unless they were ready to offer a 1st round pick.
I obviously get the contract situation, but he's much more valuable to the Bengals for a possible Super Bowl run, than shipping him off and diminishing their chances & depth at the position.
If you're a really good team and you just ship off your best players whenever you think there's a low chance of them re-signing, you're just cutting off your nose to spite your face. Those draft picks you get in return aren't going to help fill out your depth or in your playoff run for that year.
