What I wonder is how that subreddit would respond if someone with good hair, or even just decent hair posted. Do they ever respond "no bro, you have good hair!" I would bet that it becomes a "when you have a hammer, every problem looks like a nail" type situation.

Surely it's happened. A lot of dudes with perfectly good hair are anxious about balding.

Hello it's me, I'm paranoid and anxious

Not sure if this is a joke or not, but I recently learned that the same hormones that affect beard growth also contribute to baldness!

Having recently started estrogen, I can confirm that my beard growth has slowed dramatically and my once receding hairline is gradually filling itself back in.

I bet someone with good hair has asked, but I wonder what they replied.

[–] spionspion@lemmy.ml 8 points 2 months ago (1 children)

Ive seen this. They respond truthfully.

As in, "your hair is fine, don't do it"?

While I'm sure despite the wholesome community image, some people reacting with envy is understandable. But that's on them not you. Everyone is in charge of their own feelings. Regulating them and reconciling them with your free will and actions you take... That's life!

🥸

It's not necessarily envy. It just could be that they get caught up in the idea that everyone looks better bald.
