Has anyone else found themselves enjoying watching football much less than years prior due to the number of penalties? (alien.top)

I swear, half of the plays in the games I watch have a penalty. It just kills the flow of the game seeing a flag all the time, it feels like games back in the 00’s were not like this.

This year just seems like the refs think they’re the stars of the game and seem to be inserting themselves more and more into the games. There are several games this year that I genuinely question the validity of because of the refs’ actions towards the end of the game.
