A place to politely discuss the tools, technique and culture of photography.

This is not a good place to simply share cool photos/videos or promote your own work and projects, but rather a place to discuss photography as an art and post things that would be of interest to other photographers.

hello! i’m a senior in high school and i’m preparing for my ap portfolio.

one of my ideas include using a scatterings of fake blood in a bathtub + on the tile floors and walls. i’ve tried looking for washable fake blood props, and most fake blood i’ve found is permanent.

i can’t stain my bathtub with fake blood. my parents will murder me and the fake blood will turn into real blood.

any ideas?

Corn syrup & food colouring (red & a tiny touch of blue), if it's too thick, add some water to desired thickness. Chocolate syrup or sauce is too brown in my experience and only really works in black and white.
