“Good teams can have a bad season and rebound next season” is a narrative that doesn’t get talked about enough

Eagles have been in the postseason every year since 2017, except 2020, in which we went 4-11-1

It’s amazing really how short people’s sights are. The rams and 49ers have been having on and off years for the past 5-6 years, both would also have been considered to have great success over that time

While I do think the bills will be fine I think on and off for the niners isn’t really true. 2020 was the only off year

But that would mean we can’t make fun of them for being washed

Bills have some important players getting older and their drafts haven't hit enough. This isn't a run it back situation for them.

our defense will look veeeerrrry different next season, and not in a good way LMAO

Agreed.

Lthough we finally sorted out the guard position, Terrell Bernard has been a gem and Rasul Douglas was a good signing.

Sucks that we're so close to turning it around.

You definitely can still do that

They have to be willing to do so though. Aside from injuries, like the 49ers, teams rarely go from good to bad to good again, unless they take the year or two to clean up, and draft and develop young talent.

The Bills have been ignoring their decline for a few years now. Firing Dorsey is a good first start, but let's see if they're willing to commit to the mini rebuild

Kind of how Philly has been for over 20 years now. I don't recall any consecutive losing seasons (someone please correct me if I'm wrong).

A strong FO can keep things from falling apart.
