In a post from a few days ago, I noticed that someone mentioned that they were afraid to post about their dislike of the Tudor BB58 for fear of downvoting. You know what? The BB is a boring watch that's not worth the money, and Tudor wouldn't be half as popular as it is without the connection to Rolex. If Rolexes were as attainable as they were in past years, cut that by a factor of 10. Would you really buy a BB if the reality were that you could just save a little bit more and get a Rolex Submariner? That's my hot take. What's yours?

I really wish women's watches could just be scaled-down versions of men's watches. I hate "feminized" styles, bling, and fewer available automatic movements than the male-targeted options.

In a similar vein, I get real disappointed when I see a cool pink or purple watch and it’s only offered at 36mm or smaller

Citizen has a promaster diver that is exactly that. And it looks amazing!

This is not a hot take. If it is, it shouldn’t be

Shrink it and pink it

A thousand times this. I just want to wear the kinds of watches I see in spaces like this, but my 6” wrists apparently make that impossible. I hate getting excited about a watchmaker, filtering their catalogue by diameter, and being left with two rose-gold monstrosities and one featureless silver blergh (all quartz, natch).

My wife says the same thing
