Seiko SWR083P1 is a great option! Purchase a brown leather band for it and you're good to go. ๐Ÿ˜Š

I put mine on black leather:

I have a 5.5" wrist and am forced to keep all the bracelets wide open when in a case. Looks messy in there for sure, but aside from the watch box not looking instagram-ready, there isn't really a problem.

I'm a female with a 5.5" wrist and would absolutely die for a GS Spring Drive in a size I could wear!!! Absolutely would be my grail. 36mm would be perfection.

Out of those, I'd go for the 1926, personally.

I checked out the Claire de Rose IRL and wasn't really a fan. I can't put my finger on what exactly I didn't like. Maybe the proportions are a little bit weird, and it's kind of reminiscent of a Ballon Bleu but doesn't quite pull it off?

I really like the Black Bay 31mm.

5.5" wrists.

I was looking at a 37mm watch recently, that is 13.3mm thick. I have a 5.5" wrist, so that's just going to be unwieldy and look disproportionate.

I feel like I would be quite self-conscious wearing a Rolex, even if it was "basic" (Oyster bracelet, domed bezel, all steel, no diamonds) in case anyone caught a glance of the logo. But I am still attracted to it.

I honestly get more questions about my Seiko SKX013 diver than my Seamaster. Maybe because it's so chonky on me.

Right! I am somewhat biased against having huge numerals like the Explorer does, and that colours my judgement quite a bit. That said, the Datejust looks more versatile as it has a more dressy feel than the casual-only look of the Explorer, plus the date function is something I would consider to be important as well.

Your best bet is to probably just search for posts from people that have the watch here (or other watch forums).

The plain dial ceramic ones were the best variation. ๐Ÿ˜Š

I really wish women's watches could just be scaled-down versions of men's watches. I hate "feminized" styles, bling, and fewer available automatic movements than the male-targeted options.

Speedy.

I actually have a Seamaster myself (first and only Omega) - just not really fond of the colours on that specific blue and white one, I suppose.
