Through a little research, I believe RT is the only RPG currently, which is unfortunate because I think it's a great way to soak up the setting.

I have my eye on Mechanicus, because it looks very XCOM influenced. I like the smaller-scale squad-based tactics much more than the army-scale grand strategy/RTS style.

Any other suggestions? I know because of what the original game is, the RTS ones are probably going to be the majority of the PC titles, but there seems to be some representation in just about any genre. I even saw an Ork dogfighting (planes) game.

Mechanicus is a great tactics game with a BALLER soundtrack

I haven't gotten to play Deff Skwadron but Shootas Blood and Teef is a real fun sidescrolling shooter, I should revisit it

Space Marine 1 and 2 are both great, 2 has a solid community and frequent updates (also PRAISE TZEENTCH)

Boltgun is honestly one of the better DOOMclones ive played, up there with Project Warlock (YET MORE PRAISE TO TZEENTCH AS IT SHOULD BE)

I feel like im forgetting some (ignoring RTS per OP), will edit if I remember

OH theyre coming out with a 40k version of Vampire Survivors that looks legit

Space Hulk is pretty well loved, you may like it

How did i forget Darktide, I have so many hours in that...

Pretty much the best Warhammer 40K soundtrack out there, and the whole game is just dripping with atmosphere. The sound design is some of the best I've ever seen.

This is a great list. A couple to add:

Necromunda is an FPS which plays like Titanfall 2 in 40k, so excellent moment to moment gameplay, some really cool levels and set pieces highly recommended.

The proper old school Fire Warrior which is an FPS I played probably 15 years ago no idea if it holds up today.

If you have VR Battle Sister was pretty fun nothing special but holding and using a bolt gun up close was awesome.

Thanks, I had no idea there were such a nice collection of action/shooters. Looks like I had good timing asking this, a bunch of them are on sale.

Are Space Marine 1/2 a continuous story?

Yup, tons of games out there for cheap!

And yes, Space Marine 2 follows 1. But it's not exactly complex, you can very much enjoy 2 without playing 1.

In 1, youre a Space Marine who kills bad guys. Also you get betrayed by the brass.

In 2, youve gotten re-promoted and are back to killing bad guys.

The Dawn of War series. Particularly 2 and its dlc.

Ah, yes, my bad. We did forget Darktide, though.

Oh, and Inquisitor, which is more like Rogue Trader in nature

Yuup, there we go. Good catch
