Truncating Long Posts (alien.top)

I'm currently using Mastodon 2.2.1 for Android, and lately I have been seeing a lot of very long posts in my feed - like, 10,000+ characters.

Is there a way (or a different app) to truncate this automatically in my feed?

I know Semaphore does that in the form of adding in its own content warning formatting and labeling it “long post”. It’s a web app but can be run as a PWA so essentially act as an app.
