Flippanarchy
Flippant Anarchism. A lighter take on social criticism with the aim of agitation.
Post humorous takes on capitalism and the states which prop it up. Memes, shitposting, screenshots of humorous good takes, discussions making fun of some reactionary online, it all works.
This community is anarchist-flavored. Reactionary takes won't be tolerated.

Absolutely no right-wing jokes. This includes "Anarcho"-Capitalist concepts.

Absolutely no redfash jokes. This includes anything that props up the capitalist ruling classes pretending to be communists.

This is an anarchist comm. You don't have to be an anarchist to post, but you should at least understand what anarchism actually is. We're not here to educate you.

No shaming people for being anti-electoralism. This should be obvious from the above point but apparently we need to make it obvious to the turbolibs who can't control themselves. You have the rest of lemmy to moralize.

I am a firefighter and you're not wrong. The shit I hear some of these assholes say is sickening.
On the other hand the nature of the job doesn't give near as much of an avenue to act on fucked up beliefs. The culture won't tolerate that behavior on scene either. There's also a hell of a lot more accountability: you will be fired, possibly criminally charged, sued, and/or ostracized.
I.e. even if a firefighter is a piece of shit they need to at least act like a decent human being when interacting with the public.
I wonder how long that'll last. Also, if it stays around, I wonder if there's something society can learn from that structure and apply to other parts of society. I wonder if there's any way to improve it. And I wonder why it's as you say, in the first place.
Hopefully before maga picks up a history book and learns about the private fire services that used to exist before.
