A place to politely discuss the tools, technique and culture of photography.

This is not a good place to simply share cool photos/videos or promote your own work and projects, but rather a place to discuss photography as an art and post things that would be of interest to other photographers.

I recently bought a film camera and I was wondering how computers screens and CRT TVs look like on film. Has anyone here ever tried ? If yes, does it look good or is it the total opposite ? If you got any photos to demonstrate that would be great !

CRTs work by scanning the image on the screen. Often when photos are taken of CRTs they are shorter than one "Frame" so you will get a band of picture with black before and after it. If you want a whole screen, you want to set your shutter speed for 1/30, since TV traditionally is a 30 Frame per second device.
