He's pretty much on course for the greatest regular season of all-time, at least statistically. If he can sustain that level, it would be a travesty to give it to anybody else.
He will coast for sure. Intention is to smash everyone asap, coast, playoffs and then Olympics with as much energy regained as possible.
Only way to reach it is early securing some of the higher seeds in the west.
The narrative on ESPN a few days ago was "Tatum is the clear favorite because he's the best player ok the best team."
Blew my mind because Jokic's numbers are insane right now and he's on a great team, really don't know how Tatum could be viewed as a clear favorite at this point.
And Jokic been playing without his 2nd best player while Gordon and Porter are good role players I’m not sure I’d take either over anyone of Celts starters tbh. Just saying cause simply voting best player on best team is lazy af.
