Narrative cost jokic last years mvp but I think will favor him this year bc people regret last years. and his numbers are excellent this year.

Jokic was leading after the 2nd straw poll, and then his team basically went .500 after the all-star break. They just lost some close games, it happens.

And can't say "a guy without a title doesn't deserve 3 MVPs" anymore which also helps a ton. Plus three in a row is such a monumental thing that added a ton to it on top of the lack of title at the time.

Going to be really curious to see where it ends up
