Wow, so people are morons for being ignorant just because they have access to the internet.
Internet access makes no one smarter. She probably got it from somewhere and didnt bother to enquire more.
Not "just because", that's a strawman.
There are several things.
They're a teacher. Who has access to the internet. What's their excuse for not just being ignorant in a time and place where they don't need to (laziness, lack of intellectual curiosity or being bad at their job?), but also confidently teaching that to others, and not only others, but specifically children in a school, a place where they'd expect to hear actually learned information and not some random ignorance?
Yeah that's about as true as "it's so cold in America they only poop weekly"
Internet, when given to someone who's curiosity has been fostered, does indeed make them smarter. And you can see the difference in educational performance from kids who lack internet access, and it's consistently lower than kids from households with the internet.
Yeah, exactly, a moron, that's what we said...?
