More importantly, though, Kevin Hart would like to remind you that none of this is his business (even if, in a strictly financial sense, it absolutely was his business).

if you don't like offensive jokes, don't watch a roast

Jesus, people are stupid

They were barely jokes and not funny.

[–] BloodMuffin@lemmy.ca 1 points 2 hours ago

I'm sorry you felt that way

That's basically what Kevin said, but the article is pointing out that he was executive producer and could have just not booked the racist Kill Tony guy, or set guardrails up before hand (which they do for roasts).

[–] BloodMuffin@lemmy.ca -2 points 5 hours ago

then whoever wrote the article shouldn't watch roasts.

Not the point of the article. If you want to be "of the culture" like Kevin says he is, then you don't invite a klansman to the cookout.

Also, if it was about jokes, why didn't Kevin call out Tony for being a sad racist hack who moved to Austin so he could get more of Rogan's fungal dick?

Asked about an interview in which [George] Floyd’s brother expressed his disappointment that Hart hadn’t vocalized some kind of protest in response to Hinchcliffe’s joke, Hart seemed baffled at the idea he might disrupt "the production"in order to lodge a protest.

Pretty sure that George Floyd's brother didn't have to watch the roast to be effected by it. But fuck him, I guess. ¯\(ツ)
