A place to politely discuss the tools, technique and culture of photography.

This is not a good place to simply share cool photos/videos or promote your own work and projects, but rather a place to discuss photography as an art and post things that would be of interest to other photographers.

In my studio I am wanting to hang a 12' x 12' frame in the air, hooked with cords or something from the ceiling.
I am looking to have the frame permanently hanging in the ceiling above, to be able to reduce the need to rig it with 2 rollers.
What hooks would need to be installed into the ceiling ? And would safety cables have the frame swaying and moving all the time, or should I hook it with solid rods somehow?

Why use the foldaway frame? The standard frame is cheaper and probably lighter, without all the hinges and gimmicks. Permanent rig? I'd have to see the space. Hire an experienced Key Grip to rig it right and safety it off, of course.
