Kinda crazy to think that some of us have seen the likes of Henry, Bergkamp, Van Nistelrooy, Van Persie, Alan Shearer... but these guys are just on another planet stats-wise.

Probably cuz of the change of tactics, it's more easy to see higher-scoring players nowadays who aren't just poachers

The number of goals scored per season is actually down in ligue 1 and Bundesliga. The BPL set a record last year but nothing that's far from previous seasons. Source.
