Thing is, those photos are of Gene Tierney, a classic Hollywood actress who was big the 1940's.
(I never understood why Rita Heyworth got a higher hotness rating, I think it was down to the films they starred in - Gene was stunning in Laura..)
No spray cans filled with CFC propellants at that time, she just had a glorious head of hair.
Laura’s one of my favourite movies of all time! It’s so beautifully written and acted, with an amazing score by David Raksin! I recommend it to anyone who loves classic movies!

AFAIK hair spray was available after WWII so it’s possible that this hair is the result of spray cans.
