I am talking about a player that is not as bad as people make him out to be, or perhaps that is held to an unreasonable standard. Like, yo, that is our third string center, OF COURSE he's not going to be as good at (fill in the blank starter). A lot of times this is a star too of course. Or maybe it is a guy that is in fact good, but since he's getting paid X amount, then he gets hate because he's not prime MJ.

And as a bonus, who is the player that you think gets irrational support from this same fanbase?

I’d say it’s pretty obvious for us. But Towns. I’ll say some of it is probably deserved. But definitely not as much as he gets. KAT gets way too much hate. It’s better then it was a year or 2 ago but there’s still fans that as soon as he has a bad game or a few bad games they jump on the Trade KAT train and don’t look back.
