I am talking about a player that is not as bad as people make him out to be, or perhaps that is held to an unreasonable standard. Like, yo, that is our third string center, OF COURSE he's not going to be as good at (fill in the blank starter). A lot of times this is a star too of course. Or maybe it is a guy that is in fact good, but since he's getting paid X amount, then he gets hate because he's not prime MJ.

And as a bonus, who is the player that you think gets irrational support from this same fanbase?

Tobias Harris. Always under the radar never a diva attitude always puts numbers up in multiple categories and just does his job quietly. I feel he got a lot of hate due to the fact Doc Rivers was a trash coach and didn’t know how to utilize him correctly and never called plays for him. Under Nick Nurse he’s definitely a big part of why we got off to a hot start this season.
