I am talking about a player that is not as bad as people make him out to be, or perhaps that is held to an unreasonable standard. Like, yo, that is our third string center, OF COURSE he's not going to be as good at (fill in the blank starter). A lot of times this is a star too of course. Or maybe it is a guy that is in fact good, but since he's getting paid X amount, then he gets hate because he's not prime MJ.

And as a bonus, who is the player that you think gets irrational support from this same fanbase?

Grant and Bogey

Bogdanovic is now beloved, but in his first season here some ppl were mad at him for "forcing shots" and "stealing the ball from our rookies"

Now after this disaster season, people is realizing we need vets "stealing" possession from our Young core
