Ah yes, the "near meaningless term" being only the centerpoint of this community, what a great analysis you've provided

this thread must continue, so i present: it's a harmless lie. like seriously. there's people out there doing a billion times worse. why not have some fun, or focus on more important questions in life like if there's enough food in the house? (this is lemmy so you can assume at least 30% of people seeing this struggle with that, me included)
It is you who is making an assumption that I'm mad that it's not the truth. I just think it's kinda dumb and intentionally confusing, at best. That is all.
