Am I crazy for thinking that sack on Pickett wasn’t actually a safety?

A player has to carry the ball entirely into their own endzone on their own. Part of the ball still had broken the plane of the endzone into the field when he was contacted by a defender - he hadn’t carried it all the way over yet.
