A place to politely discuss the tools, technique and culture of photography.

This is not a good place to simply share cool photos/videos or promote your own work and projects, but rather a place to discuss photography as an art and post things that would be of interest to other photographers.

I'm just an amateur but I have a hard time getting a style that is cohesive with all images. Usually I'll do the same general edits for all of a same shoot. While different locations and settings usually render different editing techniques. I try to do enhanced true to life with a slight nostalgic film effect but nothing too blown out or moody yet when putting all my photos into collections togehter they just don't really go well together since they all have different styles, and these are everything from portraits to landscapes to urban photos....

So how did you all go about with choosing your post editing 'style' to identify your look of photos?

Individually (by shoot or subject). The SYNC feature is great for doing several similar photos, and then just minor tweaks and corrections as needed for each keeper. If it isn't a keeper, I delete them ASAP. Over time, you'll most likely find presets and actions you do routinely for your style. Learn how to save presets and name them appropriately to get a jump start on most images, but don't forget to experiment too.
