A place to politely discuss the tools, technique and culture of photography.

This is not a good place to simply share cool photos/videos or promote your own work and projects, but rather a place to discuss photography as an art and post things that would be of interest to other photographers.

The people working for this company is very disorganized, unprofessional, and even rude. I wanted to book an appointment for my senior photos. The lady told me to come to my high school @7:00 on Friday and the senior photos would be taking place at the auditorium. I went inside my school then headed towards the auditorium. Turns out, the doors to the auditorium was locked so I was not able to get inside. I wandered the whole school to see if the location has changed but every room in the building was pitch dark and not even 1 photographer was in sight. I complained to customer service about this situation and they could careless. This person lied straight to my face because she or he said that the senior photos was suppose to be taking place at the library but in reality, there was no photographers or anyone in the library. After complaining about the horrible communication, I was then transferred to another person. This person had the audacity to end the conversation with me after I asked “Why am I talking to a different person?” PARENTS, IF YOU KNOW LIFETOUCH WILL BE TAKING UR CHILDREN’S SCHOOL PHOTO, DO NOT WASTE UR MONEY ON THEM. THEY DO NOT DESERVE A SINGLE PENNY. I will be hiring a private photographers to take photos of me and could careless that a photo of me in my senior year will not be in the yearbook. I hope lifetouch goes out of business. This is ridiculous and doesn’t make sense.

If your senior photo is just for the yearbook, you should contact the advisor and see if they can just shoot the photo. I am a yearbook advisor and we get last-minute stuff all the time.
