I despise the way the press has absolutely no character. "Critics say ...", let's present everything as a discussion between two equally valid points of view, but only talk about the most insane shit that happens, so we end up only reading the opinions of the deranged and the appalled as if they were both equally valid.
It's 99% of the reason we have the world we have right now.
