Yes, people have been using the VGR abbreviation since the 1990s as an homage to The Motion Picture.
Other, less sophisticated people use VOY. ;)

Yep, it's one of my all-time favorites. If you like a good One Room Play story like Midnight from Doctor Who, definitely check this out.
Richard Riehle was also the good reverend in Fried Green Tomatoes.
I remember him mostly as the grandpa in Grounded For Life but he's good in a lot of stuff.
