That shit was dope. Also, Iβm old.
Right there with you. That movie was way ahead of its time and still holds up even today.

A new movie from visionary director Tim Button starring Johnny Depp and whoever his wife is at the moment!
I do like the Burton aesthetic, but Forever is still my favorite Batman movie.
Where you just at the right age when it came out?
I think I was in highschool when it came out, and everyone went to see it. We had two entire schools mob the theatre. My biggest memory of it was walking out of the theater and I to the lobby for a minute and a bunch of my friends were already out there We talked about it for a bit, basically just made fun of it, and then went back inside.
"Holy rusted metal, Batman!" is my main memory of the entire thing.
(I also still have a McDonald's cup from the movie)
Shame you were down voted, everyone likes their own things. I preferred the first one until the Nolan ones myself (lived in the middle of nowhere was actually one of the few theatre movies I saw) but there was a horrible drought of superhero movies for those decades and any Batman was fun to get.
Crazy that I have two reasons to post this video in the same day, but if you haven't seen it, you have to go watch the Kevin Smith talk where he pulls back the curtain on his involvement on this movie's production:
That talk is not about Batman '89.
Or even Batman at all.
My dumb ass read Superman in the headline lol
Regardless, because it is an iconic story, I listened to the entire thing again, and then listened to an hour long rant by Smith with someone else about Dark Knight Rises because of you.
I just want you to know, and I hope you think about what you've done. Your actions do affect the people around you!
Oh fuck, my actions have consequences?
I'm screwed.
Btw pls link that hour rant
It was just one of the random links under the videos. It's not in my feed anymore.
BUT! Check this out, this is actually Smith talking about Batman '89. Pretty cool. (I just found this the same way, random feed suggestion under the ones you linked)
Was it this one? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S8a-gyWFrsM
I searched Kevin Smith Dark Knight Rises
It actually wasn't. it was Smith and a radio guy. They briefly talked about '89, but was all about the Nolan movies.
I hate how hard it is to find videos you watched on YouTube, but they love cramming the videos you'll never watch into every feed.

Can't you check your watch history?
Nah, I'm on mobile and I have everything set to delete history as much as possible. It saves space and I usually just don't care what I've already looked up. Except for times like this lol.
Try searching utube for Kevin Smith dark night returns. It'll probably bring it up.
No worries.
But FYI watch history doesn't take up hardly any space. It doesn't store the video, just a list of links to videos you watched. And if you're using the official YouTube app, even that is stored in the cloud.
God I love listening to Kevin Smith talk about anything thank you for that.
