Maybe, and just hear me out, they should come out with some new IP. That or make a sequel to 7th Saga or Vagrant Story if they're feeling bored.

Anyone remember Chrono Trigger/Cross? Those idiots are sitting on several gold mines and keep remaking their most tired franchise.

All I ever wanted was an exact remake of ff7 with good gfx instead we got 1 game split into 3 and the gameplay completely changed.

Yeah, I'm playing it now. While rebirth is fun, not a single map was made faithfully to the original game, plus with all the story changes, it's not even sort of the same game. They underestimated the amount of people that would be turned off by that.
