/c/TenFoward: Your home-away-from-home for all things Star Trek!
Re-route power to the shields, emit a tachyon pulse through the deflector, and post all the nonsense you want. Within reason of course.
~ 1. No bigotry or fascism. This is a Star Trek community. Hating someone off of their race, culture, creed, sexuality, or identity is not remotely acceptable, neither is supporting people who actively want to kill those groups. Mistakes can happen but do your best to respect others.
~ 2. Keep it civil. Disagreements will happen both on lore and preferences. That's okay! Just don't let it make you forget that the person you are talking to is also a person.
~ 3. Use spoiler tags. This applies to any episodes that have dropped within 3 months prior of your posting. After that it's free game.
~ 4. Keep it Trek related. This one is kind of a gimme but keep as on topic as possible.
~ 5. Keep posts to a limit. We all love Star Trek stuff but 3-4 posts in an hour is plenty enough.
~ 6. Try to not repost. Mistakes happen, we get it! But try to not repost anything from within the past 1-2 months.
~ 7. No General AI Art. Posts of simple AI art do not 'inspire jamaharon' and fuck over our artist friends.
Fun will now commence.

@jawa21@startrek.website for realizing that the line used to be "want to be added to the sidebar?" and capitalized on it. Congratulations and welcome to the sidebar. Stamets is both ashamed and proud.

Oops, looks like the cat is out of the bag on the existence of the pattern buffer now...
O'Brien quickly generates transport clone of Spot...
Eh, close enough.
Oops, I must have broke him - all he does is lay there. :-)
"The last time I lost him, he got pregnant. I did not know that was even possible."
Is there a Caitian serving on board?
Either way, Spot is only female for one episode. What the fuck was Data doing to Spot?
My headcanon is that Data names every cat he owns 'Spot' and he has different cats throughout the series
And apparently kills them on the regular since there were 4 Spots over the course of the show.
The perfect feline supplement can only be found through trial and error
Remember that one time that Spot was an alien space lizard? Ah... good times:-).
Same episode.
Also, he/she turned into an iguana. Because apparently that's what cats evolved from.
Edit:
Compared to time travel, alternative realities, and warp core plasma, it makes sense to me sure.:-)
Felis catus is your taxonomic nomenclature,
An endothermic quadruped, carnivorous by nature;
Your visual, olfactory, and auditory senses
Contribute to your hunting skills and natural defenses.
That's his old version, back when it was a mere poem. He has since... improved it quite a bit.
Interesting choice of 1st officer.
Picard is frustrated at another two week long search in the neutral zone looking for Spot.
Goes to his desk to concentrate, asks the computer for tea, earl grey, hot .... he moves back to his chair and puts his tea down to think
Spot appears on his desk
Picard looks confused ..... #1! ... I found Spot!
Spot knocks over his tea and spills it onto the floor. He immediately jumps down onto the floor and disappears.
Riker rushes inside surprised and excited ... "Where is he?"
Picard is on his hands and knees looking for Spot who has disappeared again ... there's a broken tea cup and liquid all over the floor .... HE WAS RIGHT HERE!!
The crew start to question their captain's mental state.
Tell me this doesn’t take place in Springfield, OH.
Technically the truth - the best kind of truth:-)
Would that be... a spot check?
