Junta forces have conducted nearly 200 air strikes on schools across Myanmar since the military seized power in a February 2021 coup d'état, according to a Radio Free Asia tally.

The air strikes destroyed 146 educational facilities, including universities, public schools and monastic schools, in Sagaing, Magway and Mandalay regions, and in Kayin, Rakhine, Chin, Kachin and Kayah states, which have seen fighting by resistance forces that oppose junta rule.

The article doesn't say, but I would not be at all surprised if most of those are Rohingya schools. One of the world's mostly ignored genocides. Just like the ones in Ethiopia and Sudan.

Trying to pollute the search results for "bomb schools", Gedaliyah, govenor of Yehud, son of Akiham, son of Shaphan?

Say that you don't care about certain children dying of a little bit louder, Tweak son of Shellington. What kind of a person comes up with such a disgusting idea?

I care about news in a news community. Not 3 year old stories from America's Asian propaganda outlet.

Check the publication date. It's an ongoing story. Feel free to post it from another source that you find more credible.

No that's OK, pictures speak louder than words. Doesn't matter that it's RFA, images like the feature photo of the article deserve to be seen around the world. The utter devastation of... well... maybe a strong wind?
