Ireland allowed it? That's a very interesting take. Could you expand on that please?
Do you understand that someone moving for economic, cultural or pleasure reasons is not the same as their country sending them? What responsibility do we have for them that we should take then back?
Ireland's population didn't stop shrinking after the 1840s Famine until 1963. Those that stayed turned the country from agricultural backwater to a net-contributing EU nation. We didn't have to displace anyone, strip mine a continent, or restrict immigration to whites only either to achieve that.
I assure you Ireland didn't "send" anyone.
Yeah they'd have a valid grounds for resistance if a load of white people who had been deported decided to show up and take their land, right?
No thanks. We didn't send them and we don't want their descendants.
I think we all agreed this was what Australia was for a long time ago.
If your neighbour leaves their door open, can you have their television?
Also... what awesome displays? Does he think knight armour in museums has bones inside it?
Do one maleshep run. I promise he has some great deliveries too.
The Hobbit ends in a massive battle that seemed made for TV, but Bilbo gets a bonk on the head. I'm sure people don't need to hear about the ebb and flow of the battle. Have King Stannis host a feast afterwards and the few characters left alive can trade highlight stories.
Martin was mostly a Sci Fi author before ASOIAF. Still is, seemingly.
The fediverse also costs someone money to run. If you want to set up a fediverse dating app and have everyone's likes and kinks mirrored to dozens of servers run by people with almost no obligation to keep it private, good luck
