Hey all, got another question. Is Lutris only managed through the desktop mode or is there some sort of plugin you can use to manage it?

I use Lutris on my desktop and know about the option to add a Steam shortcut. Anything else SD specific that needs to be done?

Cheers

Afaik yes, Lutris is a desktop only app. I'm not aware of any plugins. I use it both on my linux desktop, HTPC for gaming, and deck.

I would recommend setting your games up and then trying to start them a couple times from Lutris. Once you're happy, then add the shortcut to Steam and pretend like Lutris doesn't exist.

I don’t use lutris, but you could add lutris as a non-steam game in desktop mode so it pops up in gaming mode. I do that with Firefox so I can use the web without having to jump back and forth.

Yep sweet no worries. I thought that would be the case. Thanks mate.

Once you've added lutris to Steam, you'll be able to launch games through it from game mode. However, I would only try to install new games through it in desktop mode, due to the number of windows it opens during installs.
