I think he's very confused and talking about Woodhenge in the second part, but also he may just be a nut.

I don't get it. He posts 2 theories. He says both are wrong. He says he has the answer. What is it?

Can't be insane without an insane explanation to Stonehenge.

Real answer: there's an airhenge, very well hidden.

The answer is his third weird stone and wood tower idea.

I'm thinking he means to say he thinks theory 1 is the correct one because he's including photo evidence? If he does he's not explaining himself very well,,

[–] Blue_Morpho@lemmy.world 1 points 4 months ago

If he means Theory 1, that seems reasonable. One stone creates a shadow between two other stones on an astrologically significant day.

It's the opposite of Newgrange.

... has he never watched a flight tracker before? He thinks trans-oceanic flights just sort of drift off-course before winding up at their destination somehow?

We've been able to plot and then travel in straight lines since the Age of Sail...

I think he believes the earth is flat and that's his explanation why planes fly in a long curve to the destination.

@FlyingSquid@lemmy.world you are a god among men when it comes to finding the crazies on Facebook.

Thank you, but it isn't me, it's a group I'm a part of.

Nobody knows who they were or what they were doing, but their legacy remains hewn into the living rock… of Stone ‘enge

That would be cool though, but in a sci-fi show sort of way, and not where the irl evidence leads.

2nd part they just put a wooden structure on top of the stonehenge stones.
