Down 2-1 in a five game series vs. the Aces, the Liberty had a huge chance to win a ring after a series of Aces injuries. In a one point loss, Stewart made just 3 of 17 shots from the field. Are there any comparable examples from history?

Tatum had the worst finals series of any star ever, so him.

The WNBA psy-op continues. Smh when will it end????

Kobe in 04 was terrible. Shot 38% for the series and it’s especially egregious since Shaq was absolutely unstoppable making 64% of his shots, yet Kobe shot more. Detroit had no answer for Shaq but Kobe couldn’t stop chucking.

Liberty up double digits, and lost without some injured players on the Aces. Total choke job, not only by Breanna but by Sabrina. Jonquel the only player that brought it for the entirety of the series. Missed some makeable shots. I wanted to see a game 5, but liberty clearly did not and A'Ja and her squad snatched the W.

Kobe went 6 of 24 against the Celtics in game 7 of the 2010 NBA finals. Ron Artest had 20 points and 5 steals and was the difference. To Kobes credit he hit 11 of 15 free throws and had 15 rebounds.

3 of 17? The Houston Rockets would have killed for 3 of 17 against the Warriors.

NBA Superstar in their absolute prime? Has to be Lebron 2011. Literally got clamped up by Deshawn Stevenson and JJ BAREA.

I saw a video where they were asking ppl if Steph or Brianna Stewart would win in a game of 1v1. Bull of the ppl asked said atewart. That’s how they edited it anyways lol.

Embiid in like 75% of his elimination games

Lol.

This is literally why one team wins or loses almost every year. In order to win, you usually have to make one of the star players play worse than normal.

I don’t know, but I couldn’t believe it when Nick Anderson missed like four straight free throws in the NBA Finals for the Magic. I felt so bad for him.

Lebron 2011

Happens to everyone. Kobe 6 for 24. Jordan 5 for 19. LeBron 10 for 30.

She folded. Plain and simple. I had bread on the Aces at halftime, so i'm happy but I was surprised she's missing wide open floaters, getting bullied in the paint etc.

Lebron against the Mavs could have easily been a massive turning point in his career. The level he no showed in that series during his physical prime is still astounding to this day

I do not think he is a superstar.

But I will always absolutely hate Harrison Barnes for missing 33 corner threes in the 73-9 season finals. I’m multiple games one more three gets us that chip.

The Pistons were the better team in '04, but Kobe essentially gift-wrapped the trophy with the way he played

Not the Finals but Kyrie went 7/22 and 6/21 in back to back games in 2 straight losses when the Bucks knocked the Celtics out in the 2019 semis.
