Embiid.

It might seem crazy, but the Sixers have only retired one non championship player in Allen Iverson. Embiid isn’t beloved anywhere near close to Iverson.

The next one is Kevin Love. I don’t see Cleveland or Minnesota retiring his number.

Lastly, I don’t know if Harden gets his jersey retired by Houston. Yao Ming did, but that was more because of China money and wanting to maintain a relationship with China at the time. Yao was similar to Mutumbo in being bigger than the game on the world scale. Also, I don’t think the NBA wanted to irritate China since they’re a large part of their business. Harden is pretty divisive whether Rockets fans want to admit it or not. He’s not a Rocket lifer like Murphy or Rudy T.

Grizzlies were a playoff team with Morant.

So yes, playoff team.

Sengun needs to be on this list over Barnes, Barrett, and Zion.

Prime Shaq would be much worse. He wouldn’t be able to stay on the floor due to the pace of play.

Orlando Shaq would’ve dominated though.

Zion Williamson is a big dude. I’ll take Zion. It’s either him or Steven Adams.

Herbert is good, but he isn’t exactly winning the big games. This has been the main criticism for Kirk Cousins in that he can’t win the big game, but Herbert doesn’t seem to be able to do this either. This seems especially true after losing in terrible fashion in the playoffs last year. Unless he leaves for another team, it seems he will also rarely make the playoffs (Cousins has made the playoffs 4 times) or win the division (Cousins has no division titles). Kirk Cousins had Rodgers blocking division titles, and Herbert has Mahomes blocking him from division titles too.

Please don’t bring up coaching or not having a defense because Cousins could use those same excuses.

Is it fair to say Herbert is destined to be the NFL’s new Kirk Cousins in being a fantasy football star and produce great stats, but not ever really being able to win the important games consistently? I’m aware he’s only 24, but he seems destined to have the career arc of Cousins. This isn’t saying he’s a bad QB, but just won’t ever be on the same level as Lamar/Mahomes/Hurts/Allen just as Cousins wasn’t on the same level as Brady/Rodgers/Wilson/Brees.

  1. Dame
  2. Kawhi/PG.
  3. Durant
  4. Tarum

If Kawhi/PG don’t win or make a deep run, someone is getting traded most likely. Dame demanded out, so he’s under the most pressure. Tatum has a great team around him, so he needs to produce, but has another year before the Heat really turns up.

I put Durant there because he demanded out, got Beal, and now has a the team he wanted. If they don’t win this year or make a deep run, they’re really in no man’s land as Beal had a terrible contract.

Kobe and Duncan were never rivals. There wasn’t any real hate or storyline.

  1. Magic vs. Bird.

  2. Russell vs. Chamberlain.

  3. Jordan vs. Thomas. Piston vs. Bulls had real animosity. Jordan would’ve had 8 titles in a row if not for the Pistons.

Warriors should trade CP3 and Klay plus picks for Lavine.

Yeah, this wasn’t a bad top end draft. I’d actually say the 2021 draft is much worse in terms of top 14 picks.

If it wasn’t for the Browns circumventing the Texans, which is why they had to add an additional l 3rd round pick, the Texans probably were going to get a better deal from the Falcons.

It’s a different game. It isn’t a game where you bang down low and have to be really physical. A finesse game means players can play longer because shooting doesn’t go away really.

Also, HGH or some other PED. Lebron is absolutely on something and so are many others. The NBA is encouraging it because it’s better than players sitting out.

Thunder haven’t done anything and neither have the Clippers. Thunder won the trade technically because of PG and Kawhi being hurt all the time.
