As the title says. What do y’all think?

Stephen Curry is known for his efficiency while being a volume shooter and having insane gravity with his off-ball movement.

While Jokic is also super efficient that has gravity with his passing and finishing abilities all while dropping a triple double.

no, jokic is comfortably better than steph offensively

They do it in different ways but yes. Both force the defence to bend to whatever they want. Steph with his outside shooting forces teams to pick him up as soon as he crosses half court. Jokic forces teams to have all eyes on him and try to cover him at all times bc of how he can pass the ball. Both incredibly fun to watch.

best way of describing it

Jokic better becuz of efficiency and playmaking

[–] LogenMNE@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago (1 children)

Efficiency is on Curry side because of the volume tho. Jokic on another level for playmaking

[–] KYRIE542@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago (1 children)

I just think Jokic is more versatile offensively when u consider not can he only shoot but he is also one of the best post players by a huge margin. Yeah Curry the better shooter by far, but I like what Jokic brings and his playmaking in on a different level than Curry.

Steph is a great finisher.

Not better than jokic

I'd put Curry just slightly higher because he's legit changed basketball as a game.

I'm not sure Jokic will have the same impact in how he affects basketball worldwide.

How is that relevant to the question?

[–] namagofuckyoself@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago (1 children)

tbf, Reddit rarely stays relevant to the question after the first two comments or so

[–] FallenLemur@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

And thts why Rodney Stuckey should have started.

[–] DefenderCone97@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

I may have misunderstood the question 🥴 my bad

[–] peaudunk@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Jokic is going to go down as better offensively.

[–] CoachDT@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago (1 children)

I’m not sure if Jokic had a season on par with Stephs best offensively, but he’s definitely in that same tier and has the ability to do that if the opportunity presents itself.

Go look at joker ‘s mvp years. Some of the best numbers in league history

[–] DerekMorganBAUxxi@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Different era to compare numbers across eras. He’s not averaging that in the 90s

[–] redbrick@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Yes. Jokic, without the all-time level passing, would still be one of the best scorers of all time at the center position.

[–] Otherwise_Warning922@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

He's had a few seasons that good, yeah. TBD if he can sustain it for as long, which is important.

[–] tondolliver31@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Yes. Jokic is absolutely that dude. One of the best offensive players to ever touch a basketball

[–] achyutthegoat@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago
[–] LoWE11053211@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

In a different way, they are

But I do think building around jokic is a bit easier building around curry though

[–] mkk4@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Yea definitely

[–] JoJonesy@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Yes. There's like a handful of players you could argue for the greatest offensive peaks in NBA history, those two are definitely in the conversation

Steph does his damage in bursts like a nuclear bomb. Jokic grinds you down the whole game silently like global warming.
