Cam Reddish, thought there was no way a player who sucked in college next to Zion and RJ would be good

Game analysis, highlights and everything else that is happening in the NBA.
Every Magic fan knew Kristaps was gonna be good and we all groaned collectively as we watched the Knicks take him right before Orlando. Knicks fans had no idea who they were gettingπ
If the Magic had drafted him, he would be shattered into a million pieces by now, as is tradition.
Either that or he just never develops because of whoever's bright idea it was to not have a development staff from 2013 till 2018. Lmao.
Lamelo ball, Zion, Anthony Edwards, wiseman.
Me/most other Lakers fans and Alex Caruso.
The guy's defense has always passed the eye test with flying colors.
I've been a Poole truther since summer league. And I still am lol
Okoro
I, along with many others, thought Luka was the obvious number one overall pick and as sure a bet to be a superstar as anyone who has entered the draft.
I was on the Giannis hype train since pre-draft.
I was early on Jokic, but not that early. His second year maybe I was thinking he could be every bit as good as Embiid or Towns.
I recently got downvoted for saying that Embiid's game will age well. We'll see.
Melod1p
Embid & Luka, called them on draft day.
Robert Williams just so fun to watch.
Luka and Haliburton
Itβs still early in his career, but I think my best call was Jalen Williams. I had him at #6 on my draft board and couldnβt believe he was mocked in the 20s a couple weeks before the draft. I was ecstatic when the Thunder drafted him.
Giddey I knew he was a good pick at the time even though people were saying we reached at the time
LaMelo Ball. People on here were literally saying he didnβt even deserve to be drafted and getting upvoted for it. Iβve never seen anything like it. Anything positive about him would get downvoted instantly
I was super high on Walker Kessler after the first preseason game.
Jamal Murray.
I said Bagley was a terrible player/bust on day 1. A post heavy player who doesn't play defense and has zero fundamentals? I couldn't believe he was even being considered. I tried to hopium to get myself to buy in but I knew deep down I was right
Dwayne Wade - I was so high in him I bet he would win ROY over Lebron in the preseason.
I remember watching college Scottie Barnes and thinking heβd be a good nba player, low and behold he is
Carmelo β selfish
I had Jimmy butler in my top 10 when he was traded to the wolves, so many downvotes
I know it's easy to shit on Ben Simmons, but Ben Simmons. I never understood the hype, and thought it was hilarious that philly took him as their "final piece" of the process or whatever.
I watched enough Duke basketball to know Marvin Bagley III was overrated and not good enough for the #2 pick (even if Luka hadn't been in the picture)
Fox, oladipo pre injury
Zion. I told that no matter how good he was, he will not see the floor enough to make a difference so while I was not sure who or what Ja was apart from being the pretty much consensus number 2 pick, I would have picked him first.
He also had his fair share of problems and his playstyle will not necessarilyage gracefully, but compared to Zion he is still the better pick. (One might argue there are even better picks behind them, I don't have that class in front of me rn but, that's neither here or there because noone had them on their radar as a possible n1 pick at the time.)
LeBron never had that killer instinct.
I was right about that this entire time.
I don't like being right about someone's game not translating, but I was pretty low on Johnny Davis. Hope he starts to figure it out this year tho. He's still young.
Anthony Edwards, I knew he was the clear cut easy pick for number 1 since January but then people started looking into his comments about liking football and saying he has no work ethic. Even after the wolves for the pick there were so many fans that kept saying he was Wiggins 2.0
