If you're going to comment some generic answer about why do we always set unreal expectations for players I don't want to hear it. It's an NBA sub and I like the hypothetical.

I want a legit reason why Hali is better than Ant and I love Hali.

The only thing Hali will have on him is playmaking and efficiency but Ant has been efficient himself and is a great defender

I would not vote for shai, standings are all too close in general and he hasn’t been head and shoulders above all the other all nba talent playing right now

Fultz will either be on the wolves or bucks come trade deadline

Dejounte has been nothing but clutch for us this year

It really isn’t crazy to take one over the other and this is coming from someone who hates these cop out answers. Zion year 2 was like 27/7 and unstoppable plus he was running the offense as the point guard on occasion over the last few years. If you can guarantee me he stays healthy he can easily be a 30 ppg scorer and turn into a great defender.

Wemby though has shown he can do everything. The defensive upside is high and he can also be a great scorer. I would slightly lean Wemby but they’re really neck and neck assuming they both stay healthy for the rest of their careers

Anthony Edwards, I knew he was the clear cut easy pick for number 1 since January but then people started looking into his comments about liking football and saying he has no work ethic. Even after the wolves for the pick there were so many fans that kept saying he was Wiggins 2.0

Ignoring this comp between Murray and Trae for a second why is it a consensus in this sub that Trae can’t play offball? I’ve said it multiple times when talking about Trae or even guys like Luka and Harden why should they play off ball when their secondary guys have no been better offensive engines than them?

Steph would not be Steph without draymond running the offense allowing him to run and create havoc on offense similar to how much Jokic helps get Murray and others going in that system. The hawks have not had someone equal to Trae in terms of offense and Dejounte is not the secondary playmaker to step up and run the offense for Trae to be off ball like draymond and Jokic are

Yeah basically and it would have to be with substantial performances he can’t just kinda pull a Klay Thompson 4 rings type run
