I got a printed picture from one of those photo booth machine and I don't want my picture to fade over time. I have those self-adhesive laminating sheets that I want to use. Is it okay to laminate the picture without destroying the quality/color of it?

Sorry if I posted this in the wrong place. I'm a reddit newbie.

Laminating won’t do anything to preserve the photo. It’s probably the fastest way to ruin the photo in the long run. Find someone with a good scanner and just scan it.
