As a die hard Thunder fan, no, our hero is not a top 25 player anymore.

[–] jknuts1377@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

The Ringer didn't even have him in their top 100, which I honestly agree with more.

Russell Westbrook is absolutely not a top 25 player currently LOL

[–] Kenchan21@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

WestBrick isnt even a top 125 player. I wouldn't give up Gabe Vincent for him in a straight trade.

[–] srtpg2@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Little know fact - there are 150 players in the top 25

[–] penguin_torpedo@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

I get that Russ runs on pure confidence but this looks like playing with fire.

[–] pepenuts98@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

I don't know if it's because they're friends or what. How do his teammates watch him suck and then just pat him on the back?

Ok if Russ is top 25 how did Russ and PG Lose to teams like utah and Portland in rd 1 a few years ago.

Pauly P smoking some wild green.

Top 25 PGs maybe

[–] Flaky_Scar_8388@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

He isn’t anymore.

[–] Lightbrand@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Is that before factoring in BBIQ or after.

[–] SwarleymonLives@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Westbrook wasn't even a top 5 player when he won MVP. He's barely still in the league at this point.

Statpadding pud

[–] viking_machina@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Everyone got 50 guys in their top 25

[–] Littlejaguar@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Lmao okay P

[–] chanGGyu@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

On the Clippers? Ok

[–] minderbinder-22@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago (3 children)

Obviously there are more than 25 guys you’d take before Russ right now, but FWIW listening to the clip I think he’s more so talking about Russ as a top-25 floor raiser/engine which might be fair (if not super meaningful from a winning standpoint…). I’m not sure there’s 25 guys you could swap in for Russ after Kawhi and PG go down and get a more competitive Suns-Clippers series, and plenty of the 92 guys ranked higher than him wouldn’t have kept LA in those games

Is Wemby > Russ tho?

[–] Son_of_Atreus@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Sounds like my wife telling me how good looking I am.

[–] iCE_P0W3R@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

He’s not right but he’s not wrong. Russ should be in the back half of a top 50, maybe barely outside it. 80 is way too low.

[–] FateRiddle@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

that's a dumb take, here, take my dumb take instead.

[–] Neversoft4long@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Honestly to have him in the top 100 is an accomplishment given how he has been playing the last couple years.

[–] Master_NOG@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

So how come only the Clippers were interested in signing Crocobrook at an amount good for top 200 in the league at $7M for 2 years? Definitely doesn't sound top 25 to me.

[–] No-Government-9884@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Players that never played an NBA game being above Russ is what has people saying shit.

[–] Public-Product-1503@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Yeah then why did every bum team use a centre to ‘guard’ and ignore him ? Including clipppetd n Dame blazers

[–] No_Credibility@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Sure Paul, maybe 5 years ago

[–] Drakilgon@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Are we talking top 25 in turnovers or shots that miss the rim? I'd agree with both.
