it's actually very very very common for identical twins to not actually be entirely identical
NBA - Main
Game analysis, highlights and everything else that is happening in the NBA.
I get weight, hair, complexion. All the sort of flexibile characteristics. But I didn't think something immutable like height could differ.
Height isn’t “immutable” a lot of things can affect your growth including health, diet, sleep, etc.
@ OP not sure they’re actually different heights based off the combine measurements from the draft! https://www.nba.com/stats/draft/combine-anthro?SeasonYear=2023-24&dir=D&sort=HEIGHT_WO_SHOES
Might be just a team measurement thing?
Never believe the numbers
Ausar is 5 pounds heavier
Weight is fluid, height isn't
You’re taller in the morning than at night, so it kinda is
But if one is heavier than the other, it shows they haven’t been doing everything the exact same in life. You only think height is purely based on genetics because you don’t have a twin to compare lifestyles to. You could have ended up taller or shorter if things were slightly different.
Ausar Thompson is gonna be way better
Why bother with this rn?
Right, they're both going to be great
You posted cringe please stop
Amen is taller
BUT MY GUY IS GOING TO BE BETTER!!!
Whew, finish picking out those pubes out your mouth...
I love following the draft, but as soon as they get on an NBA team, they become so much less fun to talk about because homers sneak into every single discussion and turn it into a shouting match.
Yeah, it can happen. It's nature vs nurture, both within the womb and the early stages outside of the womb, that can impact differences in height between identical twins.
Ausar may have a little more weight now but Amen has a little bigger frame too. He's gonna end up the bigger guy which was something that also led to he being viewed slightly more highly than Ausar.
