I think Russell's was harder to do as (with the help of Steven Adams) he was crashing the boards, starting his own fast break, and either driving to the basket or having the eagle eye to drop it off for the assist.....at a VERY high rate throughout the game.
I think Jokic's is the most efficient AND the most "...DUH" variation, as the offense runs through him and due to his offensive threat when the defense collapses he effortlessly pitches out to a team of snipers. WHen someone tries their luck, he just waltz to the basket, potentially drawing the foul, and making the opposing team groan.
And he obviously can grab the board with ease. No contest most of the time.
The system they're running is so damn good and he is playing his role so efficiently that only injuries could hamper him or the Nuggets.
Again, Russell's was the hardest. Joker's is the smartest. To see both in my lifetime is fucking amazing and I hope we don't discount either, as both were not hampering their team from winning.
Nothing worse than seeing a person get injured during "garbage time" for no damn reason. I don't wanna see Devin out there pulling a hammy or whatnot just so he can get 40 while the Suns are up 20.
When the game is over, the game is over. I get it...it's a bit unfair that someone may not get their stats because they're winning so much! Again, these are professionals; let their agent make the case that their client may not be averaging X because on Y specific games they were yanked and only played Z minutes...
