Worse players relative to the rest of the league will start winning a lot of them, muddying up the prestige of the award and also giving worse players super maxes. Brandon Miller is this season’s Keegan Murray, he’s not going put up big box score numbers like other rookies but he’s going to an efficient 3 and D while helping the Hornets back into the postseason.
The Knicks will drop to a 7 or below seed in the East. They can still make the playoffs and give a team a run for their money but I won’t count on them going higher than 7 this year in the East
