This actually makes a ton of sense. We know OKC has the assets.
For Klay, it's not necessarily the shooting but he shot selection. He has to dial back the "tough shots". He's not able to hit those as well as he user to. If he had a more balanced shot diet, it would considerably increase his impact.
For his defense, his on ball is still decent when not chasing small quick guards. He holds up well against wings. His bigger issue is his off-ball defense. One of the best kept secrets during the golden years is that Klay's off ball D was always horrible. He just made up for it elsewhere. Now he doesn't have the same impact and that off ball D is a bigger detriment.
Klay is going to heat up eventually so that will cure some of the issue with him. But there are areas of improvement that don't rely on athleticism or even shot making that are needed from him.

Klay literally led the league in 3's last year at over 40%. You really believe he is going to shoot this bad all year? He started off worst last year and then was on fire the whole 2nd half of the season.
Wiggins has Shor 37%+ since coming to golden state. You think he forgot how to shoot and is now going to shoot 18% for the rest of the year?
Kelly Oubre notoriously started off shooting at a historically bad rate his 1st couple months here. Then caught fire and was fine the rest of the season.

This is lies lol. He was averaging 20+ on average to above average effenciency. But not playing hard or smart beyond that.
This year, right now Wiggs is playing hard and good defense (Warriors have a top 10 defense) but he can't make a shot.

this is obviously a troll post lol. But I agree. Many of the Warriors weren't sharp game 1. But I like what I saw from cp3. He hit a clutch shot down the stretch. Helped get us back in the game when Curry went to the bench. I like him much better than Poole already. And I was one of the few who liked Poole. Cp3 is going to be great for us. IF he comes off the bench. It's more than obvious that he should not be sharing big minutes with Steph. Prayerfully when Dray returns, that gets rectified.
